November 20 homework

Grade 7Read aloud for ten minutes and have your reading log signed.

Grade 8 - Read aloud for ten minutes and have your reading log signed. In one page, double spaced, compare the two video shorts we watched in class. What are the differences between book burning in Nazi Germany and banning a prime time Flintstones television commercial for Winston cigarettes in the United States?

Grade 9 - Finish reading Book V of the Iliad and answer the rest of the questions on your study question sheet. Skip the question about the simile comparing Hector to a roaring river; our translation doesn't present the comparison as a simile.

Speech - No homework.

Publications - Review for a quiz on how to create a "jump out" tomorrow.

Creative Writing - Write your story.
